Flower Power - more crocheting

I crocheted a blue flower following the tutorial from Applehead. Can't wait to make more things.

Ribbon Ring

I made a ribbon ring! following the instructions from Whrrl.

I used a leftover piece of ribbon I found lying around the house.

Using a lighter, I burnt the frayed edges.

Folded the ribbon in half..
And sewed roughly along the length of the ribbon.
Pull needle and thread to scrunch up ribbon and sew ends together.
Add bead or embellishment of choice in the middle of the flower ribbon.
I used a 5cent piece to cut out a felt circle.
Broken hair lucky! (2.25")

Glued hair lucky to back of flower ribbon and felt on top of that!

My first ribbon ring :)
